The one-session system
- Cook one large protein batch.Chicken, turkey, tofu or another option you know you will eat.
- Prepare two carbohydrate bases.Rice and potatoes make portions easy to change.
- Cook or chop two to three vegetables.Use a mix of fresh and frozen if that saves time.
- Make three low-effort flavor profiles.Keep cold sauces separate until serving.
- Assemble five lunches.Rotate combinations instead of duplicating one identical box.
Example five-lunch rotation
- Chicken + rice + salsa-yogurt sauce
- Chicken + potato + garlic-herb yogurt
- Chicken + rice + teriyaki-style sauce
- Chicken + potato + hot sauce and light ranch
- Chicken + rice + lemon-herb finish
