How we evaluate evidence
We start with human outcomes and prioritize systematic reviews, meta-analyses and randomized trials. We link to original publisher pages rather than database abstracts and favor UK review bodies and journals when the quality and relevance are comparable.
Every guide separates acute mechanisms from long-term outcomes, reports meaningful limitations and keeps the conclusion proportional to the evidence. Publication and review dates make future updates visible. Lean Protocol summarizes the cited work; it does not conduct or claim authorship of those studies.
